Here is something to think about, is there nothing? Does nothing exist? Did nothing ever exist? Will nothing exist at sometime?

Let us say you can prove nothing does exist, where and how does nothing exist. If it can exist, but it does not exist yet, when and where will it exist? And of course, did it exist?

I also want to say, I’m not talking about emptiness either. Here is my reasoning why:

You have an empty box. Well, it’s not really empty right? You have some sort of dust at the very least and if you wash it off or pick it up, you would have left something behind such as skin or water. This is why I’m saying nothing and not empty.

My last question is, let’s say you believe that nothing isn’t a concept. You say it’s real and you can prove it, how would you? How would you ever prove that nothing does, did, or will ever exist? Don’t you need proof of nothing and that would mean nothing is indeed something?

So, I want to hear what you people think. Is nothing merely a human concept for something that can never be? I personally believe that nothing is only a concept thought up by humans trying to describe what the world was like before God created it, but I want to hear other people’s thoughts.

I personally think that in order for infinity to exist there must be nothing. If infinity does indeed exist then all possibilities exist, including non-existence or nothing.

Therefore, in order for there to be any sort of existence at all, there must also be nothing.

Of course, this means that everything that does exist also does not exist. Quite a paradox this world is, eh?

Well I think we define the word nothing as a place where you can’t prove something is there. I think you could define a vacuum as nothing because we can’t prove anything is there. It’s like the proof is actually in the lack of proof.

You people? What do you mean, you people?

Anyway, , hear the story straight from the big man himself, Mr Deity:

Kidding aside, there’s isn’t really nothing due to the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle. Below a certain level of precision (Planck Distance) there’s not really a meaningful way to observe things, so something and nothing don’t much have meaning.

For practical purposes though, “nothing” is the absence of observable matter or energy in a given location. By that definition, yes, nothing exists all over the place, maybe even in the majority of places.

But if you’re stuck on nothing, at least nothing isn’t entirely useless. Something can come from nothing – check out the Casimir Effect.

If nothing exists then it is not nothing, its something

On the flip side, how can nothing exist if its something?
